There are times when because of
loneliness we find ourselves thinking about old relationships or considering
new relationships with people you meet that you know are not of God. Even
though you know these things, in your mind they are still relationships.
Since
the devil knows you have a ministry, he is going to do everything he can to
slow you down and get you side tracked and
he does it through this particular area of your life. 1 Peter 5:8 says: Stay
alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a
roaring lion, looking for someone to devour. - Why is he coming after you
through this area of loneliness? It's because you are a threat to his Kingdom.
You don't have to let this happen to you. Always keep in mind that it is better to be lonely than to be with the wrong person and that is exactly what the devil wants. He wants you to get to the point where by just any old relationship would do for you. This is NOT the plan or the person God has for you. When this feeling comes over you, do as JAMES 4:7 says: Submit yourselves, then, to God. Resist the devil, and he will FLEE from you.
Wait on God and you will be happy. Wait on God and you will be satisfied. Wait on God and you will be joyful. WAIT ON GOD.
