Activities in the morning are extremely important in
our everyday life. Do you have a morning ritual? These are activities that one
does habitually every morning. It is undoubtedly true that all of us have some
form of morning ritual. It could be preparing cup of coffee, tea and a bagel
for breakfast every day. Others also wake up early morning in order to exercise
their body to maintain their health while others do one thing or the other.
It
is even true as many will agree with me that some people talk at themselves in
the mirror and declare positive reinforcement statements out loud as their
morning ritual. But for us (BODY OF CHRIST), our morning ritual must be
spending time with God through reading His Word and through praying. It is a
habit a believer of Christ must have.
It is a habit encouraged by heaven. The bible is explicit in Joshua 1:8 , “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”
Evidently, God wants you to be blessed from today onwards in everything that we do. And we will be able to achieve that if we decide to read God’s word, meditate and experience personal revelation that comes with it. Some scholars argue that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Therefore, why don’t you start from today a God-sized breakfast: A big bowl of Bible verses and a glass of fresh revelation that always come with it. Shalom
